In a cold store, a door left open turns straight into lost money. A few minutes of carelessness both increases energy consumption and disrupts the storage conditions of the produce. No accounting system can see this — because it is about a physical door, not a document.
The system monitors the door status continuously and sends an alert immediately when the time limit is exceeded. The same cameras also measure receiving and dispatch, space utilization and safety.
What is measured
Cold room door left open
An immediate alert if the cold room door stays open longer than the set time.
energy and product losses stopCrate and pallet counting
Crates entering and leaving the warehouse are counted automatically and matched against the paperwork.
shortages show up right at the doorFill level
Which cold room is full and which is empty — space utilization is visible in real time.
extra warehouse rental is postponedWorker left inside the cold room
An alarm is raised if someone remains inside the cold room after work has ended.
the most serious safety risk is closed offCounting on the sorting line
Crates and packages passing along the conveyor are counted, with a report per shift.
shift productivity is measuredFood hygiene
Monitoring compliance with cap, coat and glove rules in the workshop.
you are ready for certification auditsThis is a rare situation, but one that can be fatal. If the system detects movement inside the cold room after work has ended, it raises an alarm immediately. We recommend choosing this feature as the first task to be installed.
Who it is for
Fruit and vegetable cold stores, sorting and packing facilities, meat and dairy storage facilities, and cold chain warehouses of exporting companies.
For dry warehouses and logistics, see the Warehouse and logistics page.
How it is set up
Your existing IP cameras are checked, one device is installed on site, a one-week trial runs, and then daily reports and instant alerts begin. Processing happens on site — the footage never leaves the building, and the system keeps working if the internet goes down. More about installation and requirements →
Frequently asked questions
Do cameras work in the cold?
Ordinary cameras can be unreliable at sub-zero temperatures. During the site survey we check whether a suitable model is in place for the cold room — sometimes replacing just one camera is enough.
Don’t fog and ice spoil the image?
Temporary fog when the door opens is normal, and the system is tuned with this in mind. If there is a permanent layer of ice, the camera is relocated.
Does it integrate with our warehouse software?
The crate count report is transferred via file or API. If you use our Warehouse and Sales Management system, the integration comes ready out of the box.
Let’s start with a one-week trial
One camera, one task, one week. You see the results, then you decide. There is no commitment or payment for the trial.

Frequently asked questions
How can a camera monitor whether a cold store door has been left open?
The camera continuously monitors the door status and sends an immediate alert when the door stays open longer than the set time. This helps prevent higher energy consumption and disruption of the produce storage conditions.
Do cameras work at sub-zero temperatures, and doesn’t fog spoil the image?
Ordinary cameras can be unreliable at sub-zero temperatures, so during the site survey we check whether a suitable model is in place; sometimes replacing one camera is enough. Temporary fog when the door opens is taken into account, and if there is permanent ice, the camera is relocated.
Can camera analytics detect a worker left inside the cold room?
Yes. If movement is detected inside the cold room after work has ended, the system raises an alarm immediately. Because this is a rare but potentially fatal situation, we recommend choosing it as the first task to be installed.
Does it work with existing cameras, and how do we get started?
Your existing IP cameras are checked, one device is installed on site and a one-week trial is run; there is no commitment or payment for the trial. Processing happens on site, the footage never leaves the building, and the system keeps working even if the internet goes down.
