A car park loses money in two places: uncontrolled passage at the entry and exit and wherever the actual parking time is not measured. A parking management system combines the barrier, cameras, cash desk and reporting in one program — when each car entered, how long it stayed and what it paid are all recorded.
Key features
- Entry and exit logging: date, time, plate number, camera snapshot
- Automatic entry for subscribers via license plate recognition (ALPR)
- One-time entry with a ticket or QR code
- Flexible tariffs: hourly, daily, overnight, weekend, free first minutes
- Subscribers and corporate contracts (company employees' cars)
- Payment: cash desk, POS terminal, payment kiosks or online payment integration
- Free space counter shown on the display board at the entrance
- Operator panel: manual opening, reason logging, shift handover
- Reports: revenue, occupancy, peak hours, manually opened passages
- Web and mobile panel — the owner sees the situation without being on site
What hardware it works with
Barriers and controllers
The barrier is opened and closed from the software via its control unit, a relay or a network controller.
License plate recognition cameras
ALPR cameras or an analytics server. A regular surveillance camera is sometimes not enough — we check this during the site survey.
Ticket terminals and kiosks
Ticket printing, QR readers, payment kiosks — connected to the software if the protocol is open.
Display boards and screens
Free space count at the entrance, direction indicators, information screens.
We can supply the hardware together with our partner, or write software on top of the devices you already have installed. The second option is often more cost-effective.
Fixing existing parking software
Not every site starts from scratch. Often a system already exists, but tariffs can't be changed, reports come out wrong, a new entry can't be added, or the company that wrote the software no longer provides support. In such cases, without replacing the whole system, we fix, extend or replace the existing software with a new panel — the hardware stays in place.
Who it is for
Shopping and business centers, residential complexes, hospital and hotel car parks, open and covered paid car parks, company staff car parks. For residential complexes, this system can work together with the complex management platform.
Additional camera-based features — parking in restricted zones, queue length, free space counting — are described on the parking camera analytics page.
To be clear: the quality of plate recognition depends on the camera angle, lighting and the speed of the car. Dirty or non-standard plates may be misread, so every system keeps the option of manual confirmation by an operator. Plate data is personal data — how long it is stored and who can view it is agreed in writing before installation.
How we work
- Survey. We visit the site or study the models and layout of the existing hardware and the current software.
- Compatibility check. We tell you in writing which devices can communicate with the software directly and which need to be replaced.
- Pilot. A trial on one entrance or one zone — you see how it performs in real operation.
- Installation and training. Short training for operators, documentation.
- Support. Software updates, adding new rules and tariffs, responding to faults.
Frequently asked questions
Which parking software manages barriers and payments together?
A parking management system combines the barrier, license plate recognition cameras, the cash desk and reporting in one program. Each car's entry time, length of stay and payment are recorded; tariffs, subscribers and the free space counter are managed from a web and mobile panel.
Does it work with our existing barriers and cameras?
In most cases, yes. The barrier is opened and closed from the software via its control unit, a relay or a network controller, and ticket terminals and kiosks are connected if the protocol is open. A regular surveillance camera is sometimes not enough for plate recognition; we confirm compatibility in writing after the site survey.
Is it possible to fix our existing parking software?
Yes. If tariffs can't be changed, reports come out wrong or the company that wrote the software no longer provides support, the existing software is fixed, extended or replaced with a new panel without replacing the whole system — the hardware stays in place.
Does plate recognition always read correctly?
No, not always. Quality depends on the camera angle, lighting and the speed of the car; dirty or non-standard plates may be misread, so the option of manual confirmation by an operator remains. Storage of plate data is agreed in writing before installation.
